Refund Policy

The First Build Is Free. The Retainer Is Cancellable Anytime.

There is nothing to pay before you have a working app in your hands, so there is nothing to refund. The $1,500/week Sprint Plan can be paused or cancelled at any time, and you keep access until the end of the week you have already paid for.

1. The First Build — Free

  • Nothing to pay: Your first build costs nothing. We build it after our call, you test it, and you decide whether you want us for the weeks after that.
  • Nothing to refund: Because no money changes hands for the build, there is nothing to claim back if you walk away. You simply walk away.
  • If it is not right: Tell us. If the delivered app does not match what we agreed on the call, we would rather fix it than lose you.
  • If you do not continue: The app stays on our subdomain while you decide. If you are not continuing with a Sprint Plan, we may take it offline — ask and we will hand over the code.

2. Sprint Retainer — $1,500/week

  • Pause or cancel anytime: You may pause your plan at any time from your project page. Billing stops at the end of the current period and you keep your sprint board and any running sprint until then. You will not be charged again unless you restart.
  • Current month: The current month's payment is non-refundable once a sprint has started, as we begin work immediately.
  • No sprint started yet: If you cancel before any work begins in the current billing cycle, we will refund that month's payment in full.
  • Dispute resolution: If a sprint is delivered in a way that does not match the agreed scope, contact us. We will either fix it or refund that sprint's cost.

3. How to Request a Refund

For the build deposit, use Request refund on your project page. For anything else, email tech@webappdev.co with:

  • Your account email address
  • Your project ID (visible in your dashboard URL)
  • The reason for your request (optional, but helps us improve)

We aim to process all refund requests within 1 business day.

4. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • A sprint in the current billing period has already started
  • The account has been terminated due to a Terms of Service violation
  • The project requirements were materially misrepresented during the discovery process
